LIFE GOES ON

I have learned that sometimes you have to accept when life throws you a curve ball.
I have not been blogging as much as I have hoped recently, but that is because I have been snagging every opportunity I get to be outside. I treasure the time I get to spend outdoors - especially after this winter.
I recently decided to participate in a climbing competition coming up this next weekend, so I have been out training hard on rock and plastic. I competed in the same comp. two years ago and won second place. This year I am going for first and plan to send my first outdoor V4. For those of you who are not aware, the "V" scale is a boulder "problem" rating system. Here's a wiki link to learn more about it. Any who, I am excited.

Enough of that, here are some photos I snapped a few weeks ago when we climbed at Fountain Red.

I really do hope to get back to doing some DIY's and recipes soon. I have some ideas stored up in my brain and I think it might explode if I don't share them with you. I have missed it.

Have a wonderful day!

  1. This adventure looks stunning. I would love love love to do this, seriously. That pup is adorable, too. The weather is finally warming up here in Kansas and I'm stoked to go exploring.

I think it's amazing that you go climbing so often. Good luck in the competition!
