The weekend began with strawberry pancakes and 50 pounds of clay.
My roommate and I spent nearly all day Saturday throwing on her pottery wheel and making coil pots.
It was a wonderful time getting to spend quality time with my bestie doing what we love. We have declared that creative days like this will happen more often.

The weekend ended with a fairly spontaneous party at my apartment with wonderful company, good conversation and s'mores over a fire pit that a friend was so gracious to bring. Moments like this make me so thankful for the friends that I have.

I also had fun experimenting a bit with a few recipes. My favorite was a rather simple rosemary potato chip recipe that calls for five basic ingredients. I'll tell you all about it tomorrow!

Meanwhile, how was your weekend? Did you do anything fun or adventurous?

  1. I've always wanted to do some pottery making (is that even the correct term?!). When I was younger I tried to find a pottery class at the local activities center but never had any luck. Sounds like a good weekend :)

  2. That sounds like an awesome weekend; creative weekends are the best! I just stumbled upon your blog and am loving it! :)

    1. Thank you Amanda!
Cute jewelry by the way! :]

Please, don't be shy! I would love to hear your thoughts!
