Thursday, August 9

Although I have loved having a variety of room mates throughout the past few years and the adventure of moving from place to place, all I really long for is a place that I can call my own. I feel kind of like an apartment vagabond. I know that's an oxymoron, but I feel like I am homeless in a sense of where my heart longs to be. Nonetheless, I am holding on to the dream in my heart that some day I will have this very thing.

For now, I will take what I am given and make the most of it!

Decorating a home is a big deal to me. From furniture placement, to wall hangings, to lighting. It all works together to set the mood of the home and determines how you feel about living there. I am thankful that I have always seemed to be blessed with room mates that have let me take over in the decorating department - or have at least put up with me wanting to. ;]

My roommates and I moved in to this cute little 3 bedroom town home last June and are still kind of in the process of getting things in order. 4 roommates = a lot of stuff. And I still have a bit of tweaking to do with my room decor (Including some future DIY's). We plan on throwing a themed party once we do bring order to this temporary home of ours. Surely, by the end of August we will be settled.

Thank you for letting me share a little piece of my home with you!
Have a happy friday!

I realize that these photos are not the best of quality, they are old ones from instagram. :]

  1. I love all those little details, especially the deer head! Oh, and I also noticed the Fleet Foxes poster on the first photo. I have the same one in my room, it's a beautiful and mesmerizing statement piece. I keep noticing new elements in it every time I look at it :)

    1. Thank you Noémie! Yes, I love that poster! Fleet foxes is one of my favorite bands! I got that new cd for my birthday last year and was so excited to find that in it! Such a clever thing of them to do. :]

  2. It's so beautiful and cozy. I love a great decorated space and see your personality in this space. I want some little plants like that too! haha

    1. Thank you! That is a wonderful compliment! I love expressing myself through art and decorating. :]

Please, don't be shy! I would love to hear your thoughts!
